This workshop will consist of an intro chat, a practical session with a mock casting, and a Q&A - there will also be a cold read section if there is time.

Your Spotlight CV will be sent to Ollie prior to the workshop and he will personally email you with a scene prior to the workshop for you to prepare. Ollie will also prep another scene for you for a cold read.

Ollie will film your scene and offer feedback in the class as well as sending you a link to it after the workshop so you can review it in your own time.

Then finish up with a Q&A. 

Ollie Gilbert is an independent casting director who recently launched casting company ‘Meryl & Leslie Casting’ with Katy Covell.  Ollie has just finished casting British Independent Feature Film ‘OBEY’ directed by BAFTA winning director Jamie Jones and 'GUS&SON’ starring David Hayman.

Ollie worked his way up in casting as assistant to top casting directors Reg Poerscout-Edgerton and Daniel Edwards casting projects such as Eddie the Eagle, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, Avengers: Age of Ultron, HHh, Doctor Strange, , Killing Thyme, The Man Who Knew Infinity, The Man from U.N.C.L.E, MI-5, The Gunman, Vampire Academy 

Ollie is also a professional actor, and balances these two very different careers.
