A chance to explore your comic side and discover your funny bones with the brilliant Sarah Hughes!
This is a class that looks at comedy acting both for TV, with a chance to work on comedy scenes and develop confidence in tackling comedy acting in auditions, a discussion of different comedic genres and how best to reflect these styles in performance, and a practical look at ways of breaking into the comedy scene.

Sarah's TV work includes 10 years working for the entertainment department of the BBC and extensive freelance work, particularly in TV comedy on many well known comedy series.
Sarah is also Alan Ayckbourn's casting director, casting all world premieres of his plays at the Stephen Joseph Theatre Scarborough, in the West End, at the National Theatre and in America, as well as casting many other productions at the Stephen Joseph Theatre.
Sarah is a member of the Casting Directors’ Guild.
