The Histories are here! Ever felt like you should sit down and read all of them so you know what the heck's going on? Do you get your Henry's mixed up? Here's your chance to wrap your head round them.
This Summer we'll be holding a series of informal script-reads of each of Shakespeare's histories. These will be fellow actors getting together, a circle of peers (no directors/practitioners), just a chance to sit down and read through some of the more epic plays: we'll do a different one each session and parts will be sorted out according to whoever turns up. Ladies, it's almost certain you will have the chance to read male parts.
These script-reads are being held in collaboration with Abooo Theatre, a new company dedicated to working with new parents and their young children in the room; this means read-throughs will take place with babies/young children in the room!! Please be aware of this before you book.
Please bring a copy of King John (any version).
These are free for fully paid up members. You can book them individually or block book.
