We are delighted to welcome Chris Lawson, the newly appointed Associate Director of Oldham Coliseum to TAG NW.

This will be a practical session, starting with a workshop before working on a range of contemporary scripts from published new writers including exploring how to approach the text and delivering a mock audition with feedback.

Your Spotlight page will be sent to Chris ahead of the session. Sides will be sent out ahead of the session for preparation.

Chris’ current work includes Jumpers for Goalposts by Tom Wells at the Oldham Coliseum Theatre (October 2016) and Ten Tiny Fingers, Nine Tiny Toes by Sue Townsend (Coliseum/ALRA co-production). Alongside directing at the Coliseum, Chris also programmes the Studio theatre and runs a number of initiatives supporting and developing new work and emerging artists. Previous work includes Oedipus (Almeida), Rewritten (Tristan Bates Theatre), The Acid Test (Pleasance Theatre), Confessional (Arcola Theatre), Two Fish and Think Tank (HighTide Festival Theatre).
