This intensive three day residency on A Midsummer Night’s Dream gives professional actors the opportunity to explore the nation's favourite Shakespeare play with director Joe Hill-Gibbins, who directs at the National Theatre, Young Vic and Royal Court amoungst others.

"Gentles, perchance you wonder at this show. But wonder on, till truth make all things plain."

Through fun, practical exercises on speeches, scenes, situation and character, participants will explore this complex and technicoloured hit, and discover ways to bring the drama to life for a contemporary audience.

Joe's recent theatre work includes Measure For Measure at the Young Vic theatre, Little Revolution at the Almeida Theatre, Edward II at the National Theatre, The Changeling, The Glass Menagerie and The Beauty Queen of Leenane at The Young Vic and The Village Bike and The Girlfriend Experience at The Royal Court.
