Sarah has a wealth of experience working in some of the UK's leading casting houses as well as being a casting director in her own right. Sarah is under way casting for: ‘The Brontes’ and ‘Borderline’ and two other british films.

Having completed casting on ‘Strangeways Here We Come’ with  talent such as Elaine Cassidy (The Paradise, Finger Smith, Harper's Island), Stephen Lord (Penny Dreadful, Casualty), Michelle Keegan and Nina Wadia. In this seminar Sarah offers practical hands-on strategies, based on her industry  experience, which empower actors, giving you tools and solutions to enable you to  open doors and take more control of your career... 

This workshop will start with a chat from Sarah. You will be free to ask any questions you  have. Shortly before the workshop Sarah will send out a short scene that she would like you to prepare. She will film these at the end of the seminar and watch them through after the workshop in her own time. She will then contact all those on the workshop individually to offer  them feedback via email.

Please note this workshop is only open to members who have not done a workshop with Sarah before.

Sarah Leung has a wealth of casting experience both in her own right and working for some  of the most established Casting Directors in the industry. 

Casting Director credits include: The Brontes (Currently in development) Where There's A Will (Due to shoot in August and directed by David Hayman) and Strangeways Here We Come (Currently shooting,) Alpine Zombie Project  (Dominik Hartel), Act/Or, Woodhouse,  Fortune Cookies, 'K', Rekindle, 'Corrie' by Jonathan Harvey (Original cast at the Lowry  Theatre) for ITV.

Sarah's casting assistant credits include Luther (BBC), The Widower (ITV), What Remains  (BBC), Frankie (BBC), May Day (BBC), Red Dwarf (BBC), Law & Order UK (ITV), Just Henry  (ITV), Inside Men (BBC), Waking The Dead. Children Of Men (Universal), V For Vendetta  (Warner Bros), Ninja Assassin (Warner Bros), Much Ado About Nothing, The Tempest  (Regent's Park), The Hypochondriac (Liverpool Playhouse), Waiting For Godot, Private Lives,  Someone Who'll Watch Over Me (Manchester Library Theatre). West End - Dirty Dancing,  We Will Rock You, Billy Elliot, Lion King and many others.

A link to your Spotlight CV will be sent to Sarah a few days before the workshop. Sarah will ask you to learn your sides - these will be  sent out 3 working days before the workshop. Your email address will be passed onto Sarah  after the workshop so she can make contact with you with feedback. You will also receive a  class information sheet which will include full directions and access information a few days  prior to the workshop.
